Hot air balloon over Marrakech: what to expect

The timeline

• 05:00 – pickup from your hotel, drive 30–45 minutes to the launch site.
• 06:00 – tea while the balloons inflate.
• Sunrise – 45 to 60 minutes of flight over villages and palm groves, with the Atlas on the horizon.
• After landing – a Berber breakfast and your flight certificate. Back at the hotel around 10:00.

Shared or private?

A classic shared flight carries up to 16 passengers. A private basket is ideal for proposals and anniversaries.

Good to know

• Flights depend on the wind: if the pilot cancels, you can move to another day or get a full refund.
• Wear layers: it is cold before sunrise, warm by 9am.
• Not recommended for pregnant women or children under 6.
